I've spent 15+ years in marketing operations, building systems for businesses that needed to scale without breaking. I've seen what happens when brilliant coaches are buried under manual processes, juggling six platforms, and spending Sundays on admin instead of with their families.

MY STORY
Where it all began and how it's going now
2007-2014: Where I Learned Systems Matter
I started my career in product and planning for online travel brands: Hotels4u, Cosmos, Qwerty Travel, Avis Budget Group. High-volume ecommerce where systems either work or everything breaks.
This is where I built my foundation: customer journey mapping, data analysis, segmentation, digital marketing operations. I was setting up email automation, nurture sequences, abandoned basket campaigns back in 2010, before most people were even thinking about marketing automation.
I learned that in high-volume businesses, you can't manually manage everything. You build systems or you drown.
2014-2018: The Redundancy Wake-Up Call
Then life happened. Made redundant just after returning from maternity leave with my first child. Got another job. Made redundant again at 7 weeks pregnant with my second.
Two redundancies in three years while raising babies taught me something: employment security is an illusion.
So in late 2015, after my second maternity leave, I started freelancing. Digital marketing and strategy for small businesses. I figured if job security didn't exist, I might as well work for myself.
I discovered I was really good at fixing broken operations. Business owners would hire me to "do their email marketing" and I'd end up rebuilding their entire backend because nothing was actually working...
2018-2023: Falling Into The Coaching Industry
I was in Facebook groups for online business owners. Kept seeing coaches asking the same questions: "How do I automate this?" "What platform should I use?" "Why isn't my tech working?"
I realised I had skills they desperately needed. I spoke both "business strategy" and "tech", a rare combination.
Coaching clients kept finding me. They'd hire me for one thing (email marketing, funnel building, CRM setup) and I'd end up fixing their entire operational infrastructure.
I saw the pattern: Brilliant coaches. Successful businesses. Drowning in backend chaos. They didn't need more coaching on how to coach. They needed systems that actually worked.
By late 2023, after years of fixing the same problems repeatedly, I had a clarity moment: I needed to stop trying to be a generalist and specialise in the thing I was genuinely excellent at.
Systems. Every time, it was systems.
2024: Built The Platform I Wished Existed
By mid-2024, I'd rebuilt so many coaches' tech stacks that I was seeing the same problem repeatedly: they were juggling 6-8 different platforms that barely talked to each other.
Calendly for booking. Stripe for payments. ConvertKit for email. Kajabi for courses. Dubsado for contracts. Zapier trying (and sometimes failing) to connect everything.
