After all, you’re going to need to let your ideal audience know you have a great resource for them. It’s time for you to launch your new lead magnet, so you can help them and start growing your mailing list.
But what can you do to launch it? It’s not like it’s something that has a limited launch phase or a limited lifespan.
Here are 10 top tips to help you launch your new freebie and get it working for you.
Tip #1: Your lead magnet needs to be consistently promoted on your website
Many of these techniques can be set up once and then left to run on autopilot. These include:
- Adding an opt-in form to your website homepage
- As an exit pop-up on your website
- In the header of your website
- Create a designated landing page for it
- Add it to your blog sidebar
Tip #2: Promote your free opt-in in your blog posts
You can do this in a couple of different ways. The first is to create blog posts dedicated to promoting your freebie. The second is to add an opt-in form at the end of your blog posts. The third option – link to it in your call to action section of relevant blog posts.
Tip #3: Update your social media profiles to include it
Create a new header for your social media profiles and include an image of your lead magnet and a link to your opt-in/landing page. You can also add it on your Facebook page as a call to action.
Tip #4: Make use of your email signature
This is an often overlooked area, but it’s a perfect place to put a link through to your landing page URL.

Tell your email list all about your lead magnet and ask them to share it.

Pinterest is a great place to promote your opt-in freebies. Simply create several pins and link them to your landing page. Just remember to use keywords and hashtags, in your description!

Tip #8: Share your new lead magnet on social media posts
Make it a once a week habit where you create a social media post sharing your lead magnet with your audience.
Tip #9: Write guest posts
Ask complimentary businesses if you can guest post on their site and then link back to your opt-in landing page in your bio.
Tip #10: Opt for paid Facebook ads
If you have the budget for Facebook ads, they’re a great way to get your freebie in front of new prospects.
